The Ladysmith Factory
Situated in Ladysmith, Apollo Tyres South Africa’s passenger tyre plant is conveniently positioned between the African business hub of Johannesburg and Durban.
The 77 000m ² state-of-the-art plant, with its staff of 850, has high production capabilities and manufactures an estimate of 25 000 tonnes of premium Dunlop branded passenger and light truck tyres on meticulous maintained machinery. 50% of the factory’s high performance, steel radial product is exported internationally.
The Durban Factory
Dunlop truck tyres are manufactured at the plant in Durban, South Africa, the business port on the African continent. This is the transportation hub that allows the company to ship the first-rate tyres to destinations quickly and efficiently.
The imposing 80 000m² Durban plant employs 840 workers and annually manufacturers an estimated 22 000 tonnes of tyres, all developed to precision standards. Of the factory’s extensive output, 60% of the tyres are truck steel, while the remaining 40% are earthmover, tractor, and light truck products.
Dunlop Zone Stores
The Dunlop Zone programme was established in 1995 as a loyalty programme for dealers in order to develop a distribution network for Dunlop products in the South African market. Apollo Tyres South Africa has a total of 176 Dunlop exclusive dealers

Brand Territories
Apollo Tyres South Africa exports the Dunlop brand to thirty two other counties in Africa.
